Throwback Thursday: Quick Look at Lamy 2000 + Akkerman Parkapop Purple
Honestly, I have no idea how the time has gone so fast. I’ve been completely swamped with work projects, business trips and family stuff. But still, I’m enjoying my fountain pens and, in particular, looking back at pen + ink combinations from my sultry August line-up.
Handwritten Review
Pen: Lamy 2000 EF
Ink: Akkerman Parkapop Purple
Paper: Rhodia No. 16 Grid
This ink! This purple is quite fun. It goes down light purple and dries to a blue purple. As such, it was fun to use in the Lamy. The ony thing is that my mind is used to the idea of a dark ink in the Lamy 2000 so it’s not acccepting the sight of the purple. I’m not sure if this is the reason I didn’t pick up this pen that much this month. Or maybe I was busy trying new stuff or just too many pens inked. Maybe a bit of everything.
I do like the colour that it dries to more than the colour of it going down. Some shading. Well behaved on Rhosdia. Keeps up writing speed in the Lamy 2000. Didn’t run dry or hard start.

It’s been a long time since I last used Akkerman Parkapop Purple. I quite regret not using it in my December line-up.
