This is another early pen and ink review I did. The Ahab came about after I fell into the rabbit hole of flexible nibs. I had purchased the Platinum Cool first, enjoyed it, then decided to throw in an Ahab along with a set of Goulet nibs with an order of the Goulet Pen Cleaning and Tuning Package.

While the Vanishing Point was awaiting shipment from the shop, I settled in to watch more episodes of Goulet Q&A and Fountain Pen 101 and then came across this video of the Platinum Cool.

How did I end up with the VP *Raden Galaxy*? Good question. In my quest to find a Canadian retailer of Pilot VPs, I happened to come across the VP Raden Stripe and VP Raden Water Surface. *O.M.G.*. My heart literally skipped a beat. Then I saw the price tag and my heart skipped a few more beats. I felt that these pens, as dazzling as they were, were simply more than an sane person should spend on any one writing instrument...
