Throwback Thursday: Lamy 2000 + Private Reserve Avocado
Here's my first impression of Private Reserve Avocado. It was another ink where I only had one ink sample.
Handwritten Review
Pen: Lamy 2000 EF
Ink: Private Reserve Avocado
Paper: Rhodia No. 16 Grid
Very lovely colour. Quirky personality. Nice shading from lemon-green to dark green. Been writing with this in the Lamy 2000 and really love the way the ink looks on paper and the way it writes. Smooth, not too wet, not too dry. Just right.
I do wonder how this ink would fare in a wider nib, Guess it would look pretty interesting.
This ink is so quirky. I think I may get a bottle of it. Really nice personality.

Ha! I didn't have too much to say about this ink as I had barely filled up one page of the Rhodia pad yet I was repeating myself.
Looking back, I still really like the way this ink looks. I think it would enjoy using this to take meeting notes. It's a green with some substance. A bit unusual for work but that's th beauty of it. I kind of understand why I kept saying the ink has "quirky personality".
Private Reserve Avocado is definitely one that I would get a bottle of. It would be nice to use this with stub nib to enhance the shading.
